It was Sun day morn ing I think. I was sit ting in a hot tub watch ing the sun come up drink ing my last round of vodka shots before fig ur ing out how I should start the day or end it. I was pretty amped but every one else in the tub was naked and mak ing out after I put on The Pol ish Ambassador’s Pan dora sta tion. So I got out and found my clothes and hopped in the South ern Coach which was still parked at The Ruby Room and headed down town to my studio.

I just kinda laid there in a daze lis ten ing to the sound of high way traf fic and won der ing whether I should muster up the strength to fight this headache or just keep lying here and accept the pains of being a man after becom ing a beast. It must of been about 5pm so I decided to go to the Ruby Room after stop ping to say hello to my two friends who work at Dun geon Servi tus. After drink ing some more at the Ruby I headed to Pokez to res cue my friends from an irate domini trix. We con tin ued to imbibe at my stu dio and we watched High Fidelity. My phone rang and I real ized that Bul let wanted to go toSXSW in an hour. I wasn’t too sure if we are even going put appar ently it was a go.

They showed up in about and hour and I just grabbed a cou ple things and threw my couches in the back of the van. Every one packed pretty light except for Jamie who pulled a Princess Vespa. Then we drove out to The Rive ria to pick up the last mem ber of our team. Not after hav ing a final round of shots for the road. Of course I would start a 20+ hour drive with no sleep.

All in all I think I only spent $250 for the whole trip. We had no passes, wrist bands, or press cre den­tials. Though most of us worked for the media. Our antics were men tioned on air on 91x. We will be back next year for SXSW 2011.
